Peter HallPeter Hall joined TRE at Worth Matravers on 1st July 1940. He was involved initially on Chain Home Low (CHL) and Ground Control of Interception (GCI) radars.  He subsequently joined Cockburn to work on countermeasures.

He later joined Ferranti and became manager of the electronics department.  In 1959 he was appointed manager of the Ferranti computing department, subsequently holding other senior appointments in the UK Electronics Industry.

He was a president of the British Computer Society in 1981 - 1982 (see obituary link below).
