Bawdsey Radar is working to restore the transmitter Block at Bawdsey, Suffolk, to create an exhibition and visitor attraction about early radar development.  Bawdsey was the centre of radar development in the UK from 1936 - 1939.  More information: www.bawdseyradar.org.uk 
CHiDE, the Centre for the History of Defence Electronics which was based at Bournemouth University is no longer in existence.  The 'Friends of CHiDE' has been renamed the Defence Electronics History Society.
