| The Penley Radar
Archives is a collection of personal memories, reports,
photographs and other documents relating to the early
development of radar in the UK in the early 1940s.
This section
gives some details on how and why they were collected, how to
obtain documents, copyright, version numbers etc.
The papers, records and personal memories which comprise the
Penley Radar Archives were collected after
1988 - over 45 years after the actual events. They are intended to
record something of what was achieved when a group of outstanding
scientists and engineers worked together to achieve remarkable
results, and include personal reminiscences of those times.
